Exciting Updates for Orange County’s Clerk of Courts Facility. - Orange, FL
The Orange County Clerk of Courts is making significant improvements in Winter Park! In January, the current office at 450 N. Lakemont Ave. will relocate to a newly renovated facility at 4037 Metric Drive, offering enhanced services and triple the space.
What’s New?
The 33,915-square-foot Metric Drive location will provide a variety of automated and in-person services, including:
Two Courtrooms: One for civil cases and another for traffic cases, supporting both in-person and virtual hearings.
Wedding Ceremony Room: A dedicated space for couples to tie the knot.
Expanded Service Windows: For faster, in-person assistance.
Permanent Orange County Judge: To oversee civil matters directly at the new location.
Additionally, the facility will host Self-Help services, enabling customers to purchase forms, file cases, and access in-person attorney consultations (one day per week). Visitors can also pay traffic citations, apply for marriage licenses, and passports—all under one roof.
The new office will also absorb services from the soon-to-close Goldenrod Service Center, making it a one-stop hub for legal and civil needs.
Why the Move?
Unlike the leased Lakemont Avenue office, the Metric Drive building is county-owned, providing a permanent space to better serve the community.

The upgraded facility represents a leap forward in convenience and accessibility for Winter Park residents—get ready for its January debut!
