Free Valentine’s Week Weddings in Fairfax County - FAIRFAX, VA

Love is in the air in Fairfax County! If you and your partner are ready to say “I do,” the Fairfax Circuit Court is offering a special Valentine’s Week gift—free civil marriage ceremonies.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., couples can exchange vows at the Cathy Hudgins Community Center at no cost. Normally, these ceremonies cost $75, but Clerk of Court Chris Falcon hopes this initiative will ease financial burdens for residents.

To take advantage of this offer, couples must complete a $30 pre-application online. Additionally, the Fairfax Circuit Court Reston Satellite Office, which launched in May 2024, provides services such as civil filings, marriage licenses, certified court record copies, and notary services on the second Tuesday of each month.
